Jonathan Bugbee
February 16, 1985 - February 19, 2017
BUGBEE, Jonathan R. M.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jonathan on Sunday, February 19, 2017, in Edmonton. He was born on February 16, 1989, in Halifax NS, to Leonard and Kathleen of Glen Haven.
Jonathan was a caring, thoughtful, and generous man that was beloved by many. He was involved in many activities growing up, and was especially fond of baseball and hockey. Jonathan was passionate about music from a young age, being proficient in the use of many instruments. He wrote his own music that he loved to share with his family and friends.
Jonathan was taken from us far too soon. He was kind to a fault, always willing to offer a helping hand whenever it was needed. He was so much more than the demons he faced, and should be remembered for the amazing qualities that made him an endless source of laughter to those fortunate enough to have known him.
Jonathan will be missed by his parents Leonard and Kathleen, his sister Elizabeth (Karen), Grandmothers Barbara LeRue (Stan) and Laura Bugbee, many loving family members and countless wonderful friends. He was predeceased by his Uncle Gary Dewling, his Grandfathers Lloyd Dewling, and Leonard Bugbee Sr., and his Aunt Laurie Forest.
A cremation has taken place, and a visitation with the family will be held from 2-4 pm on Friday, February 24, at Howard & McBride Chapel of Chimes Funeral Home (10179 108 Street, Edmonton).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Margaret’s Bay Lions Club (89 Wendybrook Dr, Tantallon B3Z 2K1), St. Peter’s Anglican Church (10030 Peggy's Cove Rd, Hackett's Cove NS B3Z 3J3), or the NS Division of the Canadian Mental Health Association (45 Alderney Dr Dartmouth B2Y 2N6).
