Annie Dziwenko
November 11, 1919 - February 10, 2016
On February 10, 2016, Baba passed away peacefully at the age of 96.
Annie was predeceased by her husband Harry; daughter, Pauline; son, Albert; and her brothers, Walter and Joe.
Annie will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Olga Pylypow and Mary Guglich; numerous nieces and nephews, son-in-law Dan Rudko (Oksana), and daughter-in-law Fran Dziwenko.
Baba will also be cherished by her daughter Dianne, son-in-law Ray; grandchildren, Raina (Wilf), Gordon (Shannon), Cindy (Brett), Greg (Gwen), and Jason (Dee); great-grandchildren Hailie (Josh), Connor (Sydney), Danya, Joey, Gracie, Beau, Carson, Bobby, Andrea, and Megan; as well as several extended family members, and friends. Family was very important to Baba, and very special to her were the family (holiday) dinners, perogies, cabbage rolls, pies, etc.
Special Thank You to the staff of Rosefield Care Centre, Innisfail, for their kindness and care. Also a Thank You to the staff of Sylvan Lake Lodge for their special care.
A service to celebrate and honour Baba’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Howard & McBride Chapel of Chimes, 10179 108 Street, Edmonton AB. Interment to follow at the St. Michael Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, St. Michael AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund, St. Michael AB T0B 4B0 or to the charity of one’s choice, will be gratefully accepted.
